Week of October 8, 2018
Garage Sale
This Friday, we will be holding our very first Garage Sale! Super exciting and fun!
How does it work: Students bring in gently used items that they no longer love or use, but are still in working order, and sell them for Faux Dough. Students become business owners and will set up their own "stores" to sell their goods. Students keep the profits from their sales, which they can then use to buy items from other students or class coupons during Class Store.
What to sell:
Some students make their items to sell: art, origami, hair bows, etc. Most children bring in used items from home. Students can bring in one item, or 100. There will be several garage sales throughout the course of the year, so students may not want to sell everything in this first sale. Please make sure that all items that come in have been approved by YOU! There is no need to spend any money on garage sale items. That's definitely not the point. Unfortunately, students cannot sell any food items, such as baked goods, gum, or candy.
