Smarter Balance Assessment Consortium (SBAC) testing continues next week - Tuesday through Friday,  May 17 - 20th.  Each Tuesday - Friday for the next two weeks we will be testing during the morning hours.   Room 26 will begin testing math on Tuesday, May 17th.

Visit www.sbac.portal.airast.org/ca for practice tests and a better idea of what type of questions students will answer.  Click on the green box "Practice and Training Tests."  Sign in as a guest.  Students should practice using pencil and paper and possibly show their methods for answering math problems to parent (answers are not available on the portal).  Parents can also visit the California State Standards for fourth grade to review fourth grade expectations.

May 18 - All of Fourth Grade and Chorus will be singing in the "Spring Sing."  There will be 8:30 and 1:00 performances.

May 23 through 27.  Fitness Week.  Students look forward to this week of activities!  Students must be responsible, respectful and safe or they will be held back from activities.  Our room parent will be asking for vegetable and fruit donations for the week so that we can easily fulfill our food chart requirements.
Paper work for the Getty and Gold Rush field trips went home last week.  Return the field trip slips by Thursday, May 18th.

June 1 - Getty Museum visit.  LAUSD Field trip slip, $10.00 for bus and a sack lunch.
